Job Description

Company Description. Flooring Contractor and Retailer. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Tile Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience with various types of tile installation (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, etc.), and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role requires working independently or as part of a crew on. bonus if experienced working with other types of flooring installations, Hardwood, LVP lament and carpet.
Responsibilities:
Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled Prepare surfaces (cleaning, leveling, waterproofing, etc.) Cut, lay, and grout various types of tile Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grout Ensure precise alignment and spacing of tiles Repair or replace damaged tile work as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate with clients, supervisors, and team members as needed Qualifications Prior experience in tile installation Required Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Familiarity with the tools and equipment required for flooring installation and Knowledge of flooring materials and their characteristics Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Full-time Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
