Fence Installation Crew Member Reports to:Installation Foreman/Project Manager Job Type:
Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)Job Summary:
The Installation Crew Member performs physical labor and structural preparation for fencing and security projects. This role works directly under a Crew Foreman to complete installations safely, cleanly, and on schedule.Key Responsibilities:
Installation :
Assist the foreman with chain-link, ornamental and perimeter security fencing.Site Prep:
Dig holes, mix concrete, and transport heavy building materials or tools.Tool Operation:
Safely use power tools, core drills, hammer drills, band saws, and grinders. Keep equipment and trucks clean.Site Upkeep:
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.Admin & Safety :
Track and file daily timecards. Firm understanding of job site safety guidelines and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Strictly following all PPE and safety rules.Job Requirements:
Age:
Must be at least 18 years old.- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 50-100 pounds regularly. Capability to stand, walk, kneel, and perform strenuous labor for long shifts. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Good communication skills. Ability to follow multi-step verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including THC
- Must have and maintain a clean driving record
Preferred Capabilities:
- Prior welding experience
- Experience operating forklifts, skid steers or track loaders
- Active OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour safety card
