Altamira is a full service home medical equipment provider specializing in providing home accessibility equipment, including stair lifts, scooter lifts, ramps, patient lifts, and wheelchair lifts for the elderly and disabled. We are seeking a full-time home modification installer to assist our carpenters in the completion of home modification jobs. The position will complete site evaluations, demolitions, and install ADA multi piece transfer showers and related modifications (grab bars, door widening, toilet/sink replacements, flooring). Position may also assist with stair lifts, wheelchair lifts, and ramp installations. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays in Western PA, Eastern OH, and WV. Minimum Qualifications 1. High School diploma or equivalent. 2. Experience in bathroom remodels work including plumbing, electrical, framing, and finishing preferred. 3. Mechanical Inclination and aptitude in tool use 4. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. 5. Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years. 6. Must be willing to travel with occasional overnight stays Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions in this job description: 1.
