Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite Fabricator / Shop Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw stone materials into beautiful, finished products that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety standards will ensure high-quality craftsmanship and efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in stone fabrication, machining, and assembly within a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Duties Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts and stone cutting machines safely and efficiently to handle materials and perform fabrication tasks Measure, cut, shape, polish, and finish granite and other natural or engineered stones following detailed blueprint specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to perform precise dimensional measurements and stone finishing tasks Follow safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use such as respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection at all times during operations Handle materials with care during transportation within the shop or warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and organization Assist in assembly of fabricated stone products for installation or shipment according to project requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards in production environments Qualifications Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is highly preferred Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations Mechanical knowledge related to stone fabrication equipment and heavy machinery operation such as forklifts or other heavy equipment Familiarity with safety standards in production settings including PPE adherence, safety regulations, and proper handling of heavy materials Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining focus on safety protocols Strong attention to detail for following blueprint specifications and achieving high-quality finishes Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Join our team today to contribute your skills in a vibrant environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and continuous growth.
