Starting at $24.00 per hour Job Overview Pacific Coast Energy Conservation Services is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Installation Technician to join our team in Bakersfield. In this position, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Installer performing energy-efficiency improvements in customers' homes. These improvements are designed to help customers reduce energy usage, improve comfort, and lower utility costs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a job correctly, and is interested in developing skills in the energy-efficiency and home improvement industry. On-the-job training is provided. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of residential energy-efficiency measures, including: LED lighting Smart power strips Utility gaskets Outlet and switch cover plates Attic access weatherstripping Air-sealing measures Other minor home repairs and energy-efficiency improvements Assist the Lead Installer with daily installation duties. Safely operate hand tools and power tools. Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and program requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Protect customers' homes and belongings while performing work. Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers. Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently. Assist with loading, unloading, and maintaining tools and materials. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work safely in residential environments. Previous experience with construction, weatherization, HVAC, maintenance, handyman work, or minor home repairs is a plus but not required . Ability to learn new installation procedures through hands-on training. Must be able to reliably commute to Bakersfield, CA 93308 .

Compensation Starting pay:
