PM Compensation:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

The Irrigation Installation Laborer is the foundational force that turns blueprints into fully functioning systems. Working alongside a dedicated crew, this role focuses on hands-on craftsmanship trenching through earth, fitting PVC lines, installing valves, and shaping efficient water delivery systems for residential and commercial sites.

Pipe Assembly & Installation:

Measure, cut, glue, and assemble PVC and poly irrigation pipe, fittings, valves, and sprinkler heads under the direction of the Crew Leader.

System Setup:

Assist with the setup of controllers, valve boxes, drip irrigation, backflow assemblies, and sleeves under hardscapes.

Testing & Adjustment:

Help test completed systems, adjust sprinkler coverage, and assist with basic troubleshooting and start-ups.

Trenching & Site Prep:

Dig trenches, shovel, and clear areas to prepare for pipe and component placement; assist with locating existing utilities, irrigation lines, and landscape features before digging.

Site Restoration & Upkeep :

Backfill trenches, compact soil, and restore job sites upon project completion. Load, unload, organize, transport tools/supplies, and protect existing client property.

Safety & Execution:

Follow company safety protocols, wear required PPE, safely operate basic hand/power tools, and daily tasks according to project plans.

Qualifications:
Experience:

0-1 years of experience; previous experience in irrigation installation, landscaping, general construction, or outdoor physical labor is preferred .

Technical Familiarity:

Familiarity with installing PVC/poly pipe, valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, or controllers. Ability to read basic irrigation layout plans is a plus .

Driver's License:

Valid driver's license required and experience operating landscape/construction equipment preferred .

Language Skills:

Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) preferred .

Physical Requirements:

Capability to perform heavy labor (digging, trenching, lifting up to 100 lbs. as needed, bending) and work outdoors for extended periods in Florida's heat, humidity, and weather conditions.

Work Ethic & Logistics:

Adhere to attendance policy, safety-conscious, and reliable transportation to/from job site or dispatch location.
