We are hiring a working Crew Chief who can organize a job, coach installers, and deliver clean, complete work in customers' homes. Pay, benefits and growth $30-$38 per hour in base pay , based on relevant experience, current credentials and demonstrated crew leadership. Sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 may be offered to highly qualified, currently certified crew chiefs. Eligibility, amount and payment schedule will be specified in the written offer. Health insurance. The upper end of the pay range is for a proven chief who can plan work, lead the crew, solve field problems and close out jobs with strong quality and complete documentation. We value safe, thorough work and dependable leadership. What you will own Review the scope, plan materials and assignments, and work alongside the crew on residential insulation and air sealing. Install blown-in cellulose, dense-pack insulation, fiberglass batts and rigid foam where specified. Complete attic, wall, basement and crawl-space work, including ventilation measures within the approved scope. Perform required testing within your qualifications and follow Mass Save installation and safety requirements. Protect the home, communicate with the homeowner, and address field conditions with the office before changing the scope. Coach your second installer, check workmanship, and finish photos, test results and job paperwork accurately. Keep tools, materials and the work area organized and safe. What you bring Hands-on residential insulation/weatherization experience and experience directing a crew. Mass Save experience strongly preferred. Current crew-chief qualification accepted for Mass Save work and applicable lead-safe credentials. OSHA 10 preferred; list all current certifications when applying. Confidence with air sealing, insulation equipment, work orders and job documentation. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation to our facility, and professional communication with homeowners and teammates. Ability to perform the essential field duties, including lifting materials, using ladders, and working in attics and crawl spaces, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Full-time, in person. Report to our facility each morning before traveling to residential job sites.
