Starting pay is $23/hour but we will pay more for qualified candidates - especially candidates with crew chief certification. Join Our Team Cape Cod Insulation is a locally owned and operated business in South Yarmouth with over 50 years of experience serving our community across the Cape and South Shore. We are actively recruiting insulation workers. We are seeking motivated and dependable Mass Save Weatherization Technicians to help improve the energy efficiency, comfort, and safety of homes throughout Massachusetts. As a Weatherization Technician, you will install insulation and perform air sealing measures as part of the Mass Save® Home Energy Assessment Program. Whether you have experience in insulation, construction, HVAC, or weatherization—or you're eager to learn—we provide training. Responsibilities Install attic, wall, basement, and crawlspace insulation. Perform air sealing using approved weatherization materials and techniques. Prepare homes for insulation work while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Operate insulation blowing machines, hand tools, ladders, and other equipment safely. Identify and address opportunities to improve home energy efficiency. Follow Mass Save program guidelines and company quality standards. Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions about the work being performed. Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Qualifications Construction, insulation, weatherization, carpentry, roofing, or related experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in attics, basements, crawlspaces, and on ladders. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. OSHA, BPI, or weatherization certifications are a plus but not required. Benefits Starting pay is $23/hour but we will pay more for qualified candidates - especially candidates with crew chief certification. Overtime is generally available. Health insurance.
