ASSISTANT

TECHNICIAN

Rocky's Stove Shoppe & Chimney Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking Assistant Technician to join our team! This is a hands-on position working alongside our experienced technicians in the field. You'll learn the ins and outs of wood, pellet, and gas stoves, chimneys, fireplaces, maintenance, repairs, and installations. What You'll Do Assist technicians with chimney cleanings, inspections, repairs, and installations Help with installing, servicing, and maintaining wood, pellet, and gas stoves Load, unload, and transport tools and equipment Keep work areas clean and organized Help carry and move stoves, chimney materials, and equipment Learn proper safety procedures and installation techniques Provide friendly and professional service to our customers What We're Looking For Reliable and dependable Hardworking and willing to learn Comfortable working outdoors and in a variety of conditions Able to perform physical work and lift heavy items Comfortable working at heights Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team Mechanical or construction experience is a plus, but not required Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation What We Offer On-the-job training Opportunity to learn a skilled trade Variety of work — no two days are exactly the same Friendly, team-oriented work environment Health insurance Paid vacation Paid Holidays 401k with 3% company match Experience is not necessary — we're willing to train the right person!
