Job Description
GreenLife Energy Solutions of Egg Harbor Township, NJ is looking for a full-time weatherization technician to complete energy-saving measures in customers' homes. Our new weatherization technician will be a part of our home performance team working to improve the energy efficiency, health, and safety of our customers' homes. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Install energy-saving measures including insulation, air sealing, thermostats, LED lighting, and energy-efficient appliances (refrigerators, water heaters). Perform a physically demanding role, which includes entering small, tight, spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. This is a "hands-on" role that requires being comfortable working in dusty, dirty, or insulation-filled environments to ensure a home is properly sealed and insulated. Maintain a clean, organized work truck and respect customers' property by promoting a professional, polite presence in their homes. Learn daily from BPI-certified professionals through hands-on, top-notch field training. What We're Looking For (Qualifications) Must have a valid Driver's License Must be comfortable working with hand tools. Skills in carpentry, framing, some plumbing, retrofits are a plus. Must be able to work in a high volume/high demand environment. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be serious about learning and willing to work hard. Must follow all safety protocols. Possess strong work ethic and integrity. Passion for learning more about saving the planet and ways to improve our energy usage.
