OverviewGet paid well to make North Jersey look good for the holidays. Lit Christmas Lights installs custom Christmas lighting for homes and businesses across Essex County and North Jersey. We're hiring seasonal installers for the 2026 season. This is hands-on outdoor work — ladders, rooflines, gutters, trees, and wreaths — with a crew that moves fast, works clean, and takes pride in the finished product. If you work in a trade that slows down when it gets cold — roofing, gutters, siding, tree work, landscaping, painting — this is a way to keep full-time hours through the winter. What you'll do Install Christmas lights on rooflines, gutters, peaks, trees, shrubs, and walkways Set and move extension ladders safely; work from ladders and roofs Run and hide cords, set timers, and test every display before leaving the property Load and unload the van, keep tools and materials organized Represent Lit Christmas Lights professionally on customer property — clean work, clean cleanup Return in January for takedowns What we're looking for Comfortable and confident on ladders and roofs (this is the job — please only apply if this is you) Reliable transportation to our Nutley shop for daily crew meet-up Able to work outdoors in cold weather and lift 50 lbs Shows up on time, every day — the season is short and the schedule is tight Prior trade experience (roofing, gutters, siding, tree work, landscaping, construction) is a plus, not required — we train Valid driver's license a plus Schedule Full-time hours, October through mid-January Monday-Saturday, daylight hours; some weekend work during peak (November-early December) Takedown work resumes in January Why work with Lit Christmas Lights $25
