Skills and Qualifications Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Job description: Skills required : Building and construction experience, knowledge of materials and tools involved in the construction for the repair of houses, mobile homes or other attached structures. Duties include preforming tasks in attics, crawl spaces and other tight areas in all weather conditions.

Job Duties :

Apply insulation materials such as loose, blanket, board, and foam insulation to attics, crawl spaces, basements, or walls. Install and seal air ducts, combustion air openings, or ventilation openings to improve heating and cooling efficiency. Make minor repairs using basic hand or power tools and materials, such as glass, lumber, and drywall. Prepare and apply weather-stripping, glazing, caulking, or door sweeps to reduce energy losses. Wrap air ducts and water lines with insulating materials, such as duct wrap and pipe insulation. Install replacement windows or doors and verify proper fit. Inspect buildings to identify required weatherization measures, including repair work, modification, or replacement. Test and diagnose air flow systems.
