Chimney Apprentice/ Technician

Job Purpose:

We are currently seeking a motivated team player to join us as a chimney apprentice. If you have a passion for hands on work and are eager to learn and grow in a trade, then this position is for you! A chimney apprentice will work alongside our experienced technicians and provide assistance in a wide range of tasks and learning the ins and outs of the trade. From chimney inspections, sweeping, and various chimney repairs. We offer paid training, paid holidays, PTO and health insurance. We also offer a sign on bonus! Job Requirements:

Valid drivers license and clean driving record Must be able to climb ladders, work on roofs and work outside in any weather Must be willing to travel - We service Hampton Roads, Peninsula and Richmond area Ability to work overtime during peak season Strong customer service and time management skills Candidates must demonstrate desire to learn and grow Pay level will be determined based on level of experience. Pay will be starting between $20-$30 per hour. Previous masonry experience is preferred, however not required. Sales experience preferred All applicants must have basic knowledge of hand tools Applicants must be willing to undergo random drug testing. Applicants must also be able to pass a background screening.
