Make a Difference While Building Your Career Partners for Community Development is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Specialist to join our Weatherization team in Sheboygan. In this role, you'll help improve the safety, comfort, and energy efficiency of homes throughout our community while developing your HVAC and weatherization expertise. What You'll Do Assist with furnace replacements, servicing, tune-ups, duct installation, and duct repairs. Perform HVAC work in residential homes as part of weatherization and energy-efficiency projects. Support Energy Auditors, Crew Foremen, and other construction professionals. Assist with weatherization activities including insulation and energy-saving improvements. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory. Complete work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with program requirements. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Provide excellent customer service while working directly with homeowners. Assist with other construction and weatherization activities as needed.

Qualifications Required:

1 to 3 years of HVAC, construction, weatherization, or related experience. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. Basic carpentry skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of environments. Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

HVAC Qualifier License or willingness to obtain the license. Experience with residential HVAC installation and service. Weatherization experience. Knowledge of energy-efficiency improvements and building performance. Familiarity with lead-safe work practices and hazardous materials commonly found in older homes. Why Work for Partners?
