Job Description
Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist responsible for managing past-due accounts, resolving invoice issues, documenting collection activity, and supporting account reconciliation and reporting processes. Job Requirements Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable or Collections experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience using SAP Ability to manage a high volume of accounts Experience following up on open invoices and past-due balances Experience investigating payment issues and billing discrepancies Ability to document collection activity accurately Experience reviewing aging reports and identifying high-risk accounts Ability to resolve invoice disputes and customer billing issues Ability to maintain accuracy with financial data Ability to support month-end close activities Ability to support audits with billing and accounting documentation Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Manufacturing industry experience Technology industry experience Experience supporting customer credit applications and credit reviews Experience applying payments and reconciling accounts Experience recommending accounts for write-off based on policy Job Responsibilities Manage assigned customer accounts and follow up on past-due invoices Make collection calls and send collection emails regarding open balances Investigate payment issues and billing discrepancies Document all collection activity in SAP Work with Sales, Billing, and Customer Service to resolve invoice disputes Review aging reports and identify high-risk accounts Provide backup support for customer credit applications and credit reviews Provide backup support for applying payments and reconciling accounts Assist with month-end close and reporting Recommend accounts for write-off based on company policy Support audits by providing billing and accounting documentation Help maintain current account status through timely follow-up and dispute resolution
