Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for territory management and sales in the East Texas area, so your location should be within a couple of hours of Tyler, Texas. Must be willing to travel and stay overnights on the road a couple of days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through lead generation, business development, and account management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wholesale fuel sales, with the ability to effectively manage territories and build lasting relationships with clients.   • Manage and grow sales within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop new wholesale fuel accounts and strengthen existing customer relationships
  • Conduct in-person sales visits with convenience stores, truck stops, fuel retailers, and commercial customers
  • Negotiate fuel supply agreements, pricing programs, and branded opportunities
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for branded and unbranded fuel growth
  • Analyze market trends, fuel pricing, and competitor activity to drive strategic sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with operations, supply, and logistics teams to ensure timely and effective customer service
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory activity updates
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed
  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership regarding territory performance and growth opportunities
  • Maintain accounts in Salesforce Qualifications
  • Previous outside sales experience preferred, ideally within petroleum, fuel distribution, convenience retail, or related industries
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory Travel Requirements
  • Approximately 80% travel required
  • Frequent day and overnight travel throughout assigned territory
  • Extensive driving required, including prolonged periods operating a motor vehicle Ability to work flexible hours based on customer and business needs Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while traveling by vehicle
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for long distances
  • Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday
  • Ability to walk fuel facility sites, convenience stores, and commercial locations
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport materials, samples, marketing items, or equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to use a laptop, tablet, mobile phone, and other office equipment regularly
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs Work Environment
  • This position operates primarily in the field and includes travel to customer locations, fuel terminals, convenience stores, truck stops, and company offices.
  • The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions and outdoor environments during site visits. Compensation and Benefits
