Armed Security Officer

Virtus Security, a division of CENTCOM Global, Inc. is accepting applications for FULL and PART TIME, Armed Security Officers in the Fredricksburg area. Applicants must possess a current DCJS registration and a firearms endorsement. Prior law enforcement or military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply. Summary As an Armed Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment during night and weekend shifts. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, your core duties will include conflict management, surveillance, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to respond effectively to emergencies using your first aid and law enforcement training. Responsibilities Monitor and secure premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety. Respond to incidents and conflicts with effective conflict management techniques. Conduct regular surveillance and patrols to deter criminal activity. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with visitors and staff. Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities. Administer first aid or CPR when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
