Armed Security Officer Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, professional Armed Gatehouse Security Officer to support safety and security operations within an upscale country club community in Boca Raton. The ideal candidate is disciplined, attentive, and experienced in providing high‑level security and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong knowledge of access control procedures, gatehouse technology, report writing, and emergency response protocols, while maintaining a courteous and polished demeanor when interacting with residents and guests.

Schedule:

The schedule will consist of 32- 40 Hours a week. We are currently hiring for multiple shifts. Final shift assignments will be determined based on operational needs. We are currently seeking candidates who either: Have full, open availability and can work any shift as needed, or Are fully available for one specific shift for the entire week.

Key Responsibilities Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior & exterior) Control access and verify guest/vendor credentials Monitor CCTV and alarm systems Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports Provide high-level customer service to residents, members, and guests Enforce property rules and post orders Licensing Possess valid Florida Class D and G security licenses Possess valid Driver's License Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a gated country club environment performing patrol, gatehouse, and security dispatch duties (preferred) Experience with alarm systems and responding promptly to alarm activations (required) Experience with ABDI gate access system (required) Experience with Avigilon camera systems (required) High School Diploma or equivalent 21 years of age or older Ability to pass background screening and drug test Reliable transportation Skills & Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication Professional appearance and demeanor Situational awareness and sound judgment Ability to remain calm under pressure Demonstrated high level of customer service when interacting with residents, guests, clients, property managers, and staff. Strong communication and client relations skills. Proven strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times. Consistent demonstration of integrity, accountability, and excellent judgment.
