Art Teacher

Job Summary St. Paul Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated Art teacher to join our school community. The teacher will provide high-quality, standards-based instruction while fostering spiritual growth and modeling Catholic values.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate Jr/Sr high school art lessons for students
• Introduce and reinforce art concepts, techniques, and art history
• Foster creativity, imagination, and appreciation for the arts
• Integrate faith, culture, and creativity into art instruction when appropriate
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging art classroom
• Display student artwork and support school-wide art projects and events
• Communicate effectively with school administration and classroom teachers
• Coordinate and manage the publications classes products that include school newsletter/periodical "

", high school yearbook, and work with school social media postings

• Be the main point of contact for yearbook publication company and agency
• Manage the budget of the yearbook
• Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development
• Follow all school policies and Archdiocesan guidelines
• Model Christian values and uphold the mission of Catholic educationJob Requirements Required
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach art to children in junior high and high school setting
• Strong organizational, classroom management, and communication skills
• Dependable, creative, and professional demeanor
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education Preferred
• Valid teaching certification or eligibility
• Previous experience teaching art in a school setting
• Experience working with a variety of age levels and skill ranges
• Practicing Catholic or willingness to support Catholic faith practices Working Conditions
• School-based instruction in an art classroom setting
• Frequent interaction with students and faculty
• Ability to stand, move about the classroom, and manage art materials
