Job Description
We are seeking an Asphalt Foreman to join the team in Ohio. This hands-on field leader will guide paving crews, operate a paver when needed, and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to spec. What You'll Do as the
Asphalt Foreman:
Lead daily asphalt paving operations and keep crews aligned on priorities Work directly in the field, including operating a paver as needed Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activity Partner with project managers and engineers to execute job plans Monitor job quality, production, safety, and schedule progress Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on site Track daily logs, production reports, materials, and incidents Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and consistency Communicate clearly with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors Must-Haves as theAsphalt Foreman:
5+ years of asphalt paving experience Prior experience leading or supervising field crews Hands-on paver operation experience Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, paving methods, and heavy equipment Ability to read and understand plans, specs, and project documents Solid understanding of construction safety requirements Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions Nice-to-Haves as theAsphalt Foreman:
OSHA certification or other construction safety training Experience coordinating equipment maintenance or downtime planning Background working on commercial, municipal, or DOT paving projects Additional heavy equipment operating experienceBenefits Offered:
