Duties Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications Coordinate daily operations, including material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce scheduling to meet project deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans related to asphalt paving projects Conduct quality control inspections using tools like an ohmmeter and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and resource allocation Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling and management tools; adjust plans as needed for optimal results Oversee safety protocols on-site, ensuring all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and best practices in construction site safety Supervise subcontractors and vendors involved in pipeline installation or other related tasks within asphalt projects Maintain accurate records of daily activities, safety incidents, inspections, and project milestones Qualifications Proven experience supervising asphalt paving or heavy civil construction projects with strong leadership skills in managing crews and subcontractors Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, budgeting, and contracts management Hands-on experience with construction site operations including use of tools like ohmmeters for quality checks Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards specific to construction sites involving asphalt work Ability to read technical schematics related to pipeline or infrastructure projects within the scope of asphalt construction Supervising experience demonstrating effective management of teams in fast-paced environments Excellent communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders and ensuring clarity across all levels of the team Join us as an Asphalt Foreman where your expertise will drive successful project execution while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
