Assembler Job Description The Assembler uses hand and power tools to build and assemble trailers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a role that requires standing for most of a 10-hour shift, consistently lifting heavy materials, and following blueprints and written instructions with a strong focus on quality. New team members begin by rebuilding trailers that have been flagged for quality issues before transitioning into full assembly responsibilities. Responsibilities Assemble trailers using a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner. Read and follow blueprints and written instructions to complete assembly tasks without quality errors. Start by rebuilding trailers that have been identified with quality issues before they leave the yard, ensuring they meet required standards. Transition into a full assembly role after initial rebuilding assignments and training. Lift and move materials weighing 50+ pounds regularly throughout the shift while maintaining safe lifting practices. Inspect work for accuracy and quality, taking pride in producing reliable, well-built trailers. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment such as ear plugs, hard hats, and steel-toe footwear. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and support continuous workflow. Why Work Here? 4:30pm-3:00am, Monday-Thursday (17+2 premium) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orfordville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
