Benefits You'll Love NextDeavor offers health, vision and dental benefits for contract employees Paid sick leave eligibility is contingent on state of residence Optional 401k Plan (excludes employer match) Opportunity to get your foot in the door at a well-established corporation, with potential for extended or permanent full-time employment Become a Key Player as a Senior Assembler/Tester You will help ensure products meet quality and on-time delivery expectations by assembling and testing semi-complex mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. You will work closely with the production team and manufacturing engineering in an onsite manufacturing environment (day shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM). Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Assemble and test a variety of moderate to semi-complex products using hand and power tools, test equipment, and assembly fixtures Set up and verify test stands for hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and cryogenic systems and record conformance to specifications Conduct tests using data acquisition tools (e.g., LabVIEW), oscilloscopes, transducers, and related equipment; interpret and record results Troubleshoot, rework, and perform diagnostic teardown and rebuilds to return products to serviceable condition Perform soldering and final detailing to customer or industry standards Read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications Contribute to lean initiatives by identifying opportunities for productivity and cost improvements Train and assist less experienced team members and ensure equipment calibration and safety (FOD-free area) Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Five or more years of direct industry-related assembly/test experience in a high-technology manufacturing environment Strong mechanical reasoning with hydraulic and/or electrical background; experience with semi-complex products and multiple part families Proficiency reading blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications; ability to perform semi-complex calculations Experience setting up and using test fixtures and diagnostic/test equipment; familiarity with measurement conversion and fluids theory Ability to work with limited supervisory guidance and adapt procedures to meet assignment needs Soldering experience Pay Range $25.50 - $30/hour Ready to Make Your Mark?
