Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students' communication and academic growth for the remainder of the 2025-2026 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to contribute to a welcoming educational environment near Irvine, CA. Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, and immediate start is available through June 12, 2026. With a manageable caseload of up to 55 students, you'll make a difference while maintaining work-life balance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required Current California state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure Prior experience in a school-based setting beneficial Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance Ability to conduct therapy sessions and manage caseload documentation efficiently Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, supporting diverse needs across the caseload Complete and maintain up-to-date documentation, including finalizing IEPs and assessments Follow established treatment plans and detailed notes left by the previous SLP Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student progress and carryover of therapy goals Participate in IEP meetings as needed Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all activities This is a rewarding opportunity to have a lasting impact in a well-organized district, with supportive systems already in place to ensure your success.
