As an Assessment Tech, you'll play a pivotal role in daily operations, managing the assessment roll with precision. Dive into the world of real property transactions by analyzing deeds and affidavits, determining action categories for assessment rolls. Assessment Technician I:
Receives immediate supervision from supervisory or management staff.
Assessment Technician II:
Receives general supervision from supervisory or management staff. Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Assessment Technician I Experience:
One year of related office experience in filing documents or processing of records.
Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Assessment Technician II In addition to the qualifications for the
Assessment Technician I:
Experience:
Three years of responsible assessment office experience or Title Company Experience.
Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by specialized clerical assessment training.
Assessment Tech I:
$ 3,145•$5,162 Based on a 37.5 hour week.
Assessment Tech II:
$3,473•$5,699 Based on a 37.5 hour week. The salary range above consists of 15 steps. Steps 1-6 are annual merit steps with approximately 5% difference between each step, based on successful performance. Steps 7-15 are additional merit steps, requiring 2 years of satisfactory performance at the previous step. Steps 7-14 provide 2.5% increases, while Step 15 offers a 5% increase. The final salary offered will depend on the applicant's experience and qualifications, ranging from steps 1 to 15.
