Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role is essential in fostering child welfare and promoting early childhood education principles. The Assistant Teacher will engage with toddlers and preschool-aged children, or school age facilitating their growth in literacy, math, and social skills. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Provide care and supervision for toddlers, preschoolers, or school age ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support literacy education by reading to students and encouraging language development through interactive activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational experience. Participate in standardized testing preparations as needed, ensuring students are well-prepared for assessments. Observe student progress and report any concerns regarding child welfare or developmental milestones to the lead teacher. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education practices. Experience Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of child welfare practices and toddler care techniques is essential. Familiarity with early childhood education principles. Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in teaching literacy and math concepts to young learners will be advantageous. Requirements
