  • Banking, based at CARTERS National Support Office in East Tamaki, you will play a crucial role delivering administrative and accounting assistance to the Finance, Manufacturing Invoicing and Branch Accountant teams ensuring deadlines are met and desired results are achieved.
This is a diverse financial support role where you will embrace a "no task is too big or too small" mindset. Manage weekly, monthly and ad-hoc payment runs and own the cash refund process Prepare month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and data collation Provide accurate processing for Manufacturing Administration, including back-costing, invoicing, stock take assistance, and filing maintenance Own the paystation deduction process, ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations Offer general banking assistance and assist with daily banking entries Contribute to ad hoc finance requests across the team About you You will be the perfect fit for this role if you are committed to delivering exceptional service and have the following skills and qualities. Proficient in reconciliation and investigative techniques Robust organisational and time-management skills. Exceptional communicator, adept at interacting across all organisational levels. Proficient in utilising computer systems with a solid grasp in Microsoft Excel Industry knowledge is advantageous. A Business diploma in Accounting or Commerce along with previous Assistant Accountant experience is desirable.
