Job Description

Job Summary Enhance the academic success of the student athletes, personal development, leadership abilities, community service and career development. Job Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for reporting information on student-athlete progress to coaches and the athletics administration. Assist in monitoring academic success for student-athletes Facilitates meeting and provide statistical reports to coaches and athletics administration of each team's academic progress Assist with the completion of various correspondence as it relates to the student-athletes Plans, coordinates, and executes all special events housed within the student- athlete enhancement unit (i.e. welcome back activity, athletic banquet, honors breakfast/diner, etc.) Must be committed to maintaining compliance with NCAA and SWAC rules and regulations Works directly with the supervisor on strategy and goals for academic services Develops and facilities workshops on key topics of leadership development to help student-athletes grow leadership skills on and off the playing surface Oversees the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Any other duties assigned by the
VP of Intercollegiate Athletics Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree is required Two to Five years of experience Effective written/oral communication Must be able to use Team Works, INFLCR, social media and other forms of communication Must be computer literate Sound judgment and maturity
Preferred:
Master's Degree Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics academics Supplemental Information
