Assistant Athletic Director at St. Paul's School for Girls Mar 29 2026 The St. Paul's Schools is pleased to announce an opening for a full-time Assistant Athletic Director at St. Paul's School for Girls starting July 1, 2026. School Overview The St. Paul's Schools is a family of independent schools in Baltimore County, Maryland. Serving children from infancy through grade 12, our three schools share a 120-acre campus, an Episcopal tradition, and a focus on developing confident, well-balanced students who will use their education and ethics to improve the world. A coordinated structure allows The St. Paul's Schools to preserve the small-school feel within each school while sharing resources and certain programs to maximize opportunities for students.

Position Description St. Paul's School for Girls is seeking a dynamic, detail-loving Assistant Athletic Director to help bring energy, organization, and a team-first spirit to our athletics program. Working side by side with the Athletic Director, this role is key to creating a positive, mission-aligned experience for our student-athletes, coaches, and families—both on and off the field. From game-day logistics to big-picture planning, the Assistant Athletic Director helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while contributing to the excitement and spirit that define SPSG athletics. This role oversees a wide range of administrative and programmatic responsibilities, with a focus on clear communication, strong collaboration, and operational excellence. You'll also serve as an important connector across campus, partnering with employees to align schedules, support program needs, and ensure our athletics program continues to thrive. Job Responsibilities Collaborate with Athletic Director on all issues related to the athletic program Support the middle school athletics program, by providing oversight on gamedays, staffing and coaching support Lead social media initiatives and marketing efforts for athletic pages Provide operational support for the entire athletics program, including game scheduling, transportation and officiating needs. Coordination of athletic calendar with school community Provide support for all events including game day set-up, award presentations, signing ceremonies and leadership training for athletes. Assist with on-site administration of home games (two-three late afternoon/evening events per week) Assist in coordination with facilities team on event management Assist with website score reporting Assist with Equipment Management, inventory and maintenance Assist with uniform inventory, distribution and collection Completes all other duties, as assigned. This candidate will have a bachelors degree in a related field with specific experience in working on social media and graphic/video editing. S trong interpersonal, communication, writing and detailed organization skills are required with the ability to be a reliable partner and team player. This position will also require excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and be proactive. The St. Paul's Schools has a compensation scale based on direct years of experience and degree held. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience, education and skills. For this opportunity, our salary range is $55,000 to $68,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
