• Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Assistant Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Buyer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of consumer products across multiple categories.

This role plays a key part in driving profitability by negotiating vendor agreements, managing inventory levels, and ensuring our product assortment aligns with customer demand and business objectives. Key responsibilities Source and purchase CPG products Negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and promotional support with vendors Analyze sales trends, inventory data, and market conditions to forecast purchasing needs Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams Monitor inventory levels to prevent overstock, shortages, and product obsolescence Support product launches, promotions, and assortment changes Ability to set clear goals, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable for results. Skilled at motivating teams, resolving conflicts, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment. About you Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field 2-5 years of buying or purchasing experience, preferably in CPG, retail, or wholesale Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Experience Experience with national brands and/or private‑label products Knowledge of category management and retail pricing strategies
