Job Description

Physician Assistant Program Assistant Clinical Professor of Master of Physician Assistant Studies
Assistant Clinical Professor of Master of Physician Assistant Studies Rocky Mountain College invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, non-tenured-track faculty appointment. This individual participates in the design, development, organization, direction and evaluation of the courses of study and associated student educational activities that occur throughout the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program. As a core program faculty member, this individual is heavily involved in generating and delivering classroom lectures and clinical skills instruction over a wide spectrum of clinical science topics, and creates, administers and analyzes numerous student assessments as part of the program's ongoing formative evaluation of student performance. A Master's degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies. Clinical practice experience as a licensed Physician Assistant is also required, with 2 or more years in practice. Previous experience teaching health care professionals in a clinical or academic setting is highly desirable. Current NCCPA certification is required and the successful candidate must be eligible for professional licensure in the state of Montana. The start date for this position is July 1, 2026, although an earlier start date may be negotiated. The outstanding candidate must have excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, planning, administrative and organization skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, the Google Suite, and any digital imaging software programs is required.
