Job Summary:

Aspen Ridge Preparatory School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to support our athletic programs. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to develop student-athletes, foster teamwork, and promote sportsmanship in alignment with our school's mission and values. This position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for mentoring young athletes. The position may become available as needed, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Requirements Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and game strategies. Provide individual and team instruction to enhance player development and performance. Support and enforce team rules, policies, and expectations. Promote a positive and inclusive team environment that aligns with Aspen Ridge Preparatory School's core values. Supervise athletes during practices, games, and team activities to ensure safety and adherence to guidelines. Assist in maintaining and organizing athletic equipment and facilities. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administration. Serve as a role model, fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among team members.

Qualifications:

Prior coaching or playing experience in the specific sport is preferred. Knowledge of fundamental techniques, rules, and strategies of the sport. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, and students. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Must pass a background check in accordance with school policies.

Work Schedule:

Seasonal position, with practices and games scheduled in the afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. Specific hours vary depending on the sport and season.

Compensation:
