Job Description
Villanova University, a Division 1 institution, has an opening for an Assistant Women's Rowing Coach. This position assists the Head Coach in all aspects of the management and administration of the women's rowing program, with specific emphasis on skill instruction and development at practices and individual training sessions. Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes and represent Villanova University in a first class manner. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Extensive knowledge of rowing. Understanding of the University's mission and its philosophy regarding student-athletes. 2+ years of experience working in a college women's rowing program, preferably at Division I level, in a coaching or manager role. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to pay close attention to details, interact effectively and appropriately with student-athletes, and evaluate prospects. Proficiency with personal computer applications.
