Assistant Estimator (Entry-Level) Historic Masonry Restoration Company Job Description We are seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Estimator to join our growing historic masonry restoration company. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction estimating and historic restoration. Our company specializes in the restoration and preservation of historic brick, stone, and concrete structures including churches, schools, mills, municipal buildings, lighthouses and other landmark properties. Responsibilities Assist with preparing estimates and bid proposals Review project plans, drawings, and specifications Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations Pricing requests from suppliers and subcontractors Support project managers and estimator with daily tasks Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed Maintain organized project and bid documentation Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Mathematical and computer proficiency Experience with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Procore and Office programs preferred Ability to learn estimating software and construction processes Construction knowledge or related education Positive attitude and willingness to learn Good self-starter, adapts and learns quickly Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Career advancement opportunities Health benefits and paid time off Stable, full-time employment Opportunity to work on unique and historic restoration projects Schedule Monday to Friday Full-Time In office 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
