Assistant Daycare Teacher/Floater

Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on childhood development, preschool activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and play Engage children in educational activities, playtime, and social interactions that promote emotional and cognitive development Provide attentive infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Help supervise children during outdoor play, meals, nap times, and transitions throughout the day Support behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and cooperation among children Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed and first aid procedures are readily accessible in case of emergencies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification or training in first aid and CPR required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and team members Join us to be part of a dedicated team that nurtures young minds while supporting their growth through engaging activities and compassionate caregiving.
