Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure team excellence. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness standards. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels to optimize efficiency. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and sanitation. Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service during all operating hours. Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to enhance guest experience. Implement training & development programs for staff to improve skills in food production, customer service, and safety procedures. Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and professional growth. Qualifications Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, food handling, and kitchen management. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated leadership skills with prior supervising or assistant manager experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview and train staff effectively. Background in hospitality management or culinary experience preferred; hotel or barista experience is advantageous. Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality customer service standards. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes. A passion for hospitality with a focus on team management, food service management, and customer satisfaction.
