The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager by overseeing daily restaurant operations, managing scheduling and inventory, guiding staff performance, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. Leadership:
Proven ability to recruit, train, mentor, and motivate restaurant staffHospitality Experience:
Background in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality settingCustomer Service Skills:
Ability to create a welcoming and professional guest experienceFinancial Acumen:
Experience managing budgets, analyzing financial documents, and controlling labor costsAdministrative Proficiency:
Skilled in scheduling, payroll, and basic operational tasksCommunication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem-Solving:
Ability to work under pressure and resolve operational or staffing issues quicklyFlexibility:
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Assistant General Manager•Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Training:
Hire, train, and mentor staff to improve skills, morale, and team performanceOperational Management:
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure consistent product quality, exceptional service, and a clean, well-maintained environmentFinancial Oversight:
Manage inventory, analyze financial documents, control labor costs, and prepare sales reports to support profitabilityGuest Satisfaction:
Ensure excellent food quality, attentive service, and a positive guest atmosphere to drive repeat businessStore Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for both guests and staff, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulationsAdministrative Tasks:
Handle scheduling, payroll, bank deposits, and performance appraisals to keep operations organized and efficient Assistant General Manager•Preferred Background & Skills (Nice to Haves)Multi-Unit or High-Volume Leadership:
Experience managing larger or multi-unit restaurant operationsTraining Program Experience:
