The Opportunity We are seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in launching and leading the Clinton, IA Pizza Ranch. This is an exciting opportunity to help set the tone, culture, and standards for a new restaurant from day one. The AGM plays a vital role in daily operations, team leadership, and guest satisfaction. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys developing others, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position requiring availability during evenings and weekends.

What You'll Do Support & Lead:

Key Responsibilities Guest Satisfaction Ensure every guest receives a legendary dining experience Handle guest feedback professionally and with a solution-focused mindset Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service Support local community engagement efforts Business & Financial Management Support sales growth and restaurant profitability Assist with monitoring food, labor, and operational costs Help control expenses while maintaining quality and service standards Team Leadership & Development Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback Lead by example in a positive, team-oriented work environment Operational Excellence Maintain compliance with health, safety, and brand standards Support daily operational procedures for efficiency and consistency Assist with inventory management and cost control What You Bring to the Table Passion for leading and developing people Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment Restaurant management experience (preferred) Basic computer proficiency High school diploma or equivalent Business acumen and operational understanding Valid driver's license Why Join Gravy Train & Pizza Ranch?
