Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiovascular healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and geriatrics. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality medical services while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions. Provide specialized care in cardiovascular disease detection, evaluation, and treatment. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems - Familiarity with eCW a plus. Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case management and discharge planning. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license with relevant certifications. Experience cardiovascular disease and general cardiology Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
