Assistant Manager - Restaurant

As an Assistant Manager, you will partner closely with the General Manager to support all day-to-day restaurant operations, including team leadership, staffing, training, guest satisfaction, food quality, and financial performance.

Salary:

$40-45K per year with bonus structure

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Restaurant Manager Serv-Safe or equivalent 2 years of leadership experience

Qualifications:

Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic Ability to take direction, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Basic accounting and computer skills Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills Proven ability to lead shifts independently while maintaining service and operational standards Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities:

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and closing shifts as business needs require Manage, train, monitor and coach team members Create an environment of accountability, recognition, and continuous development within the restaurant Adhere to and monitor employee compliance of the employee handbook, policies, and practices including appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties Direct and assign restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards Prepare employee work schedules; monitor and make appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levels Interview selected team member and management candidates to maintain proper staffing levels Complete and maintain all restaurant employment related records and payroll records Maintain a passing quarterly QCC (Quality, Consistency, Convenience) Inspection Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels Place orders for food, paper and other supplies within cost control procedures Prepare all necessary operational reports. Develop appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trends Develop and implement a local marketing plan Drive guest satisfaction and ensure every guest receives exceptional service Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to create positive service recovery experiences Escalate significant guest concerns to the General Manager when appropriate and assist in achieving service recovery

Pay:

$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
