Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in coordinating daily operations to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Supervise staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold service standards. Oversee food preparation and food handling processes to maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness standards. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies to promote a safe dining environment. Support staff training initiatives including onboarding, skill development, and performance evaluations. Assist with shift management by scheduling staff efficiently and resolving operational issues promptly. Contribute to budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and optimizing resource utilization. Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally. Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on staff training & development. Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and food production efficiently. Leadership qualities including team management, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Experience with catering, banquet services, or hotel food operations is a plus. Knowledge of food handling regulations and hospitality industry best practices. Capable of working flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
