Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Salem, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining store standardsLead, motivate, and train team members to deliver outstanding customer serviceManage staff scheduling and ensure appropriate coverage during all shiftsHandle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accuratelyOversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular countsResolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly and professionallyImplement and maintain visual merchandising standardsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulationsAssist in meeting sales goals and implementing promotional activitiesStep in for the store manager in their absence, making key decisions as neededQualificationsProven experience in retail or service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team membersExcellent customer service skills and a passion for creating positive customer experiencesProficiency in cash handling, financial management, and inventory controlDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feetProficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferredKnowledge of retail operations, customer service best practices, and sales techniquesAdditional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
