JOB DESCRIPTION

The Phillipsburg School District is seeking an Assistant Principal of Athletics to coordinate all interscholastic athletics. The successful candidate will manage and create programming for student-athletes and coaches and will be responsible for monitoring and supervising the athletic program throughout the district.

QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY

New Jersey Principal Certification A demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work as part of a team, and motivate staff Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on work and game schedules Knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Health and Physical Education Knowledge of all athletic policies approved by the Phillipsburg Board of Education and NJSIAA Excellent communication skills Required criminal background check
