Job Description The Department of Education at Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time faculty position within the Doctor of Education (EdD) program. The successful candidate will possess expertise in curriculum and instruction, instructional practices, teaching and learning, or a closely related field and demonstrate a strong commitment to practitioner-focused doctoral education
Required Qualifications Earned terminal degree (EdD or PhD) in Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Educational Leadership, Teaching & Learning, or a closely related field. Evidence of successful teaching experience in higher education and/or PK-12 settings or closely related field. Demonstrated understanding of instructional practices, adult learning, and practitioner-based doctoral education. Strong written, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the doctoral level. Dissertation chairing or committee experience. Experience with qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods research
Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas)

Job Duty
Job Duty Teach doctoral-level courses in areas such as curriculum and instruction, instructional leadership, instructional practices, assessment, or related topics
Job Duty Support EdD students through advising, dissertation supervision, and committee service
Job Duty Provide timely, constructive feedback and individualized student support
Job Duty Collaborate with faculty to support program assessment, accreditation, recruitment, and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Duty Participate in curriculum development and course revision aligned with current research and practitioner needs
Job Duty Maintain active scholarly engagement through research, presentations, publications, or professional involvement
Job Duty Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities
Job Duty Engage with school and community stakeholders to support partnerships and program outreach
