Assistant Project Manager - Industrial and Manufacturing Construction Assistant Project Manager opportunity supporting large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help drive successful project execution across all phases of construction. Projects consist of large-scale ground up industrial and manufacturing construction projects typically exceeding $50M in value with a well-established general contractor offering a strong backlog and long-term growth potential. Responsibilities Support projects from preconstruction through closeout Assist with project schedules, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and project documentation Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, change orders, and closeout materials Help track budgets, forecasting, billing, and overall project financials Coordinate with Superintendents, field teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout construction Participate in owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal project coordination efforts Support project safety, quality control, and schedule adherence Assist with buyout, permitting, and contract administration processes Help resolve field and operational issues to maintain project progress and client satisfaction Maintain accurate and organized project records and documentation Qualifications 1-4+ years of experience with a general contractor Experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced construction environment Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar software Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Vehicle allowance or company vehicle + gas card Bonus opportunity 401(k) Full benefits package PTO and continued career growth opportunitiesSimilar remote jobs
