Job Description
Our client is a nationally recognized design-build firm delivering high-value, technically complex industrial projects across the U.S. Known for their work on advanced manufacturing facilities, secure infrastructure, and high-profile builds, they are continuing to grow their project management team in the South-East.
The RoleWe are recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects throughout the east and south-east region. This role offers strong exposure to complex projects and senior leadership, with a clear path for progression.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Project Manager with day-to-day management of large-scale industrial projects.
Assist with project scheduling, cost control, change management, and project documentation.
Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Help manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project reporting.
Participate in client meetings and contribute to maintaining positive client relationships.
Support preconstruction, estimating, and procurement activities as required.
Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and contractual requirements.
Proactively identify risks and assist in resolving project issues.
Ideal Candidate Profile2-5+ years of experience in construction project engineering or assistant project management roles.
Exposure to industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, schedules, and cost controls.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
