Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our residential properties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with tenants, managing contracts, and ensuring the property is well-maintained and efficiently run through work orders. Your ability to multitask, prioritize important tasks first, being organized and providing exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this position. Duties Assist in managing tenant relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Support the leasing process by processing applications and preparing lease agreements. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio or EzLandlord Forms for data entry and record-keeping. Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and property maintenance requests. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Assist in the preparation of reports related to occupancy rates, lease renewals, and other key performance indicators. Requirements Proven experience in customer service or property management is preferred. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for both the company and tenants. Familiarity with property management software such as Appfolio is a plus. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, owners and vendors. The ability to work independently and problem solve with limited direction. Be able to complete tasks in a timely manner, prioritizing most important tasks first. The ability to multitask in a fast pace work environment. Strong organizational skills. Must have experience working with Microsoft excel, Microsoft word and Canva. The ability to time block to preform job efficiently. Willing to study and pass Real Estate Sales Person exam in a 4 month time period. Dependable, must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
