Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to support daily restaurant operations and help lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The AGM works closely with the Mash Factory staff to oversee staff performance, customer service, inventory, financial goals, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Assist the Mash Factory staff in overseeing daily restaurant operations Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Monitor employee performance and enforce company policies and standards Help manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing levels Support inventory management, ordering, and cost control procedures Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and health code compliance Assist with opening and closing procedures Monitor sales performance and help achieve financial targets Handle cash management and POS system operations Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development initiatives Step into leadership responsibilities in the General Manager's absence Qualifications Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and labor management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications 3 plus years of restraunt experience ServSafe or food safety certification preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a busy kitchen and dining environment Work Environment Fast-paced restaurant setting Requires teamwork, multitasking, and customer interaction May involve evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
