YesSummaryThe Restaurant Assistant Manager at Tillie's in Camp Lucy plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our front-of-house team. This position requires a motivated individual with a strong passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. This role will assist in executing the vision of Tillie's unique dining experience, inspired by global influences and a 19th-century Vietnamese town hall. This role emphasizes operational excellence, exceptional service delivery, and fostering a vibrant culinary atmosphere.
Operational Management:
Support the management of day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring service excellence at Tillie's.

Actively engage on the floor during service, addressing guest needs and ensuring operational flow.

Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures to enhance service efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Identify and address customer needs, responding proactively to elevate the dining experience.
Team Leadership:
Assist in leading the front-of-house team by recruiting, training, and nurturing talented staff.

Foster a culture of hospitality and professionalism, anticipating and surpassing customer expectations.

Participate in weekly meetings to review performance, align on objectives, and address challenges.

Contribute to the training and development of staff to ensure a knowledgeable and high-performing team.
Sales and Inventory Management:
Assist in managing Private Dining Room sales and opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Maintain accuracy and control over alcohol inventory, contributing to cost-effective practices.

Support the oversight of the tip process, ensuring distribution is fair and transparent.

Collaborate on maintaining a diverse and appealing wine menu that complements the overall dining experience.
Quality Control and Customer Experience:
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure high service and product standards are consistently met.

Engage with reviews and feedback, maintaining strong performance across platforms.

Work with the Activities Manager to develop and coordinate food and beverage programs.

Assist in managing the pool pass program and staffing to enhance guest offerings.
Financial Oversight:
Assist in analyzing financial reports to guide decisions that meet sales, profitability, and quality objectives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations relevant to restaurant operations.
Marketing and Administration:
Support the execution of monthly marketing plans to boost Tillie's presence and attract guests.

Collaborate with HR on payroll processes and ensure adherence to company policies.

Take on additional duties as needed to contribute to the restaurant's success.

RequirementsProven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Strong leadership skills coupled with excellent organizational and communication capabilities.

Ability to multitask and maintain priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Exceptional focus on delivering memorable customer service experiences.

Knowledge of inventory management and financial analysis is advantageous.

Understanding of food and beverage health and safety regulations.

Passionate about the culinary arts, hospitality, and creating memorable guest interactions.
