Job Description
Position:
The Assistant Supervisor will assist the Lead Program Supervisor with overall planning, logistics. Directly supervising direct support professional/registered behavior technician staff (DSP-RBTs) and participates in employee selection, performance management, and staff development. Assists with the coordination of the interdisciplinary team, promoting and maintaining the excellence of the program and ensuring implementation of person-centered treatment and behavior plans as well as, coordination of medical care, medication administration, and other necessary services. Ensures the appropriate, therapeutically documented level of supervision in the assigned program at all times to protect the health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support, consistent with agency philosophy and department practices and in line with Federal, State, local, and regulatory requirements. Serves as Administrator-on-Call (Available/On Call Supervisor ) with other program leadership on an as needed basis and provides program/floor coverage, when necessary.Minimum Qualification Requirements:

QIDP:
Minimum 1 year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disability or other developmental disabilities and as a Human Services Professional, is an individual who holds at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field (including, but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology).- Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within one year of appointment.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Tuberculosis testing and clearance mandatory for most positions.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to respond to calls and programmatic needs beyond regular work hours/be on-call as needed.
- Basic computer skills - including e-mail, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, utilizing Workday and other related systems to complete essential daily tasks.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
